Why are we sometimes blinded by those who just say good things about us? I have seen people who are sweet to you....at surface level people tend to give priority over genuine people. They don’t revolve around you to get in your good books. They tell you with sincerity and blamed for being rude. It’s better to tell anything with honesty than sugar coating it...just to get some benefit from you. At work places and generally in life people....who inflate your ego gets advantages over those who tell you what you should know...not what you want to hear from them. Why some people get played by those who are there for saying yes?...or saying what you want them to say to you? people who are trying to give you their real opinion. It is not necessarily bad...you may not like it. But you need to hear it. Sycophant gets advantage by pretending over those who are true in their views. They are not saying anything to please others. But it is something that is widely practiced in our societies. Despite much talk over preventing sycophancy in our lives.
Satellite images show the 1,200sq km (463sq miles) Conger Ice Shelf collapsed completely in March. According to studies by scientists, the large chunks of ice attached to the land acts as a buffer to prevent ice from melting and flowing into the ocean increasing the risk of submergence due to a rise in sea level on the land areas. The areas on coastlines are in danger of receding land areas due to the rise in sea levels. The temperature reaching 40C (70F) above normal in parts of East Antarctica, is unusual for the region during this time of the year. Scientists, consider the melting of ice in Antarctica is likely to increase the risk of flooding. The rapid pace of melting of ice has adverse effects on the land adjoining the ocean. Melting of ice is creating an effect Neff described as “a fire hose of moisture phenomenon. The rate of climate change is three times warmer in the Antarctic than in the Arctic Ocean. In the context of factors, first and foremost is the increase in greenhous...
